The Landauer Gisperg Gumpoldskirchner Rotgipfler DAC 2023 is an expressive yet elegant white wine from the thermal spa region of Lower Austria, made from the rare, indigenous Rotgipfler grape variety. This long-established grape variety thrives in the region around Gumpoldskirchen, characterized by southeast-facing slopes, calcareous gravel soils, and a mild, sunny climate.

As a classified DAC village wine, this vintage brings the unique terroir of the Pfaffstaetten vineyard to the glass in its purest form. The grapes come from quality-oriented vineyards, are hand-picked, and then aged in large wooden barrels. The result is an organically certified and vegan white wine that impresses with its regionality, individuality, and craftsmanship. The name Rotgipfler refers to the reddish coloring of the shoot tips – a further indication of the originality of this special grape variety, which grows almost exclusively in the Thermen region.
