La Gauloise Liqueur Bicentenaire Jaune is a traditional French herbal liqueur with over 200 years of history, produced by the Distillerie du Centre in Limoges, France. This yellow version is based on an original recipe from 1783, which includes over 30 carefully selected herbs, roots, and spices. The recipe dates back to the pharmacist Edouard Requier, who used an alchemical book of plants – a so-called "grimoire" – as the basis for this complex composition. To this day, the liqueur is macerated, distilled, and artisanally processed using traditional methods.

With an alcohol content of 40% ABV, La Gauloise Jaune is softer and sweeter than the green version, "Verte," while remaining fully aromatic and complex. The natural color, intense herbal character, and slightly honey-like sweetness make this liqueur a classic of French spirits. Over generations, La Gauloise has received numerous awards—including the gold medal at the 1889 World Exhibition and the Medal of Honor in 1900.
