24 fine botanicals are used for the production. Norway's cold climate benefits the herbs and berries as they gain richness from growing longer.
Probably the most unique of these botanicals is golden root, which grows in northern Norway and gives the gin an Arctic marine note.
In the Viking Age (800 - 1050), this root was even considered a delicacy, which was said to have magical properties.
This gin is distilled 5 times in new stills, which are made by Arnold Holstein. After distillation, only pure water of Norway is added.
