The Kilchoman 11 Years Old Sherry Cask with 50% volume and 0.7 liter content is a limited single cask or small batch bottling from the young, innovative Kilchoman Distillery on Islay. As one of the few distilleries in Scotland that produces everything itself on site, from the barley to the bottle, Kilchoman stands for precision craftsmanship and authentic Islay character.
This single malt is fully matured in Oloroso sherry butts and has been allowed to develop its depth and complexity over 11 years in the distillery's warehouses. The combination of the rich sherry cask profile and typical Kilchoman peat smoke results in an intense, full-bodied whisky with a harmonious balance of sweetness, fruit, spice and maritime notes. As always with Kilchoman, it is bottled uncolored and non-chill-filtered in its natural color to preserve its unadulterated character.
