The Paul Kerschbaum winery is one of the leading wineries in Austria. It is located in the Blaufraenkisch region of Horitschon in Burgenland. The term "Blaufraenkischland" refers to a wine-growing region in central Burgenland, where the Blaufraenkisch grape variety is mainly cultivated. Paul Kerschbaum's aim is to produce powerful, long-lasting wines with a woody touch. In 2011, Paul Kerschbaum placed the production of the wines in the hands of his son Michael.
Kerschbaum Cuvee Impresario is an exquisite red wine made from the grape varieties Blaufraenkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After vinification, it matures for 18 months in new oak barrels, which gives it an impressive structure and complexity. The wine is then bottled and sealed with natural cork. With a storage potential of 3 to 5 years, the red wine develops its full aroma during this time, which is characterized by a perfect balance of fruit and spice.
