The Kaiken winery was founded in 2002 as the sister winery of Montes on the other side of the Andes and has since developed its own identity and earned an excellent international reputation. Under the dynamic and sustainable leadership of Aurelio Montes Junior, who brings a great deal of energy and experimentation, Kaiken stands for excellent vinification in the high altitudes of the Andes. The name "Kaiken" comes from the Mapuche Indians and refers to the Patagonian wild goose that regularly crosses the Andes mountains between Chile and Argentina. Inspired by this journey, Montes founded the Kaiken winery in Argentina to produce exceptional wines.
