KinGlassie Raw is a heavily peated Fife single malt Scotch whisky that is distilled for just two weeks in winter each year. Only barley malt from Fife is used, which is malted with mainland peat to over 50 ppm and gives the whisky its powerful smoky character. It is matured for eight years exclusively in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak, which clearly emphasizes the raw distillery character. Bottled at 46.3%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colorants, this bottling is uncompromising, structured and authentic. The tin box provides additional protection for the bottling and underlines the unique appearance of this smoky edition.
