The HWAYO X. Premium Single Grain Whisky is an exciting discovery from South Korea that combines the traditional Asian art of distilling with modern whisky philosophy. This premium whisky is produced by the Hwayo Distillery, which is originally known for its high-quality soju and is now also dedicated to whisky production with great care and craftsmanship. The HWAYO X. bottling stands for elegance, purity and a balanced style that appeals to both beginners and experienced connoisseurs.
It is a single grain whisky made from a grain base (predominantly rice) and matured in oak barrels. The climatic conditions in Korea ensure intensive barrel maturation, while the distillery preserves a soft, clear aroma with great precision. With an alcohol content of 41% vol., HWAYO X. is pleasantly accessible, yet finely structured and surprisingly complex.
