Hillinger JACK without dad! Red 2021 14,5% Vol. 0,75l

The Hillinger JACK without dad! Red 2021 13.5% vol. 0.75 l is a red wine from Austria with a strong character, which comes from the Leo Hillinger winery in Burgenland. It is particularly noteworthy that this wine was vinified by Leo Hillinger's son, who is also called Leo Hillinger. With this project, the next generation of the winery shows its own signature and interprets the Cabernet Franc grape variety in a modern and independent way. The grapes grow on gravel soils, which give the wine a clear structure, minerality and depth. The wine is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, a grape variety known for its aromatic intensity, spiciness and excellent ageing potential.

After careful vinification, the Hillinger JACK without dad! Red 2021 matures for around 20 months in new and used barrique barrels, giving the wine additional complexity, fine roasted aromas and a harmonious structure. With 13.5% alcohol by volume, this Burgenland red wine is powerful, balanced and elegant. The combination of ripe tannins, moderate acidity and intense fruit gives the wine depth and ensures a storage potential of around 8 to 10 years. This Austrian Cabernet Franc is traditionally sealed with a natural cork.
