Leo Hillinger took over the winery from his father in 1990. Since the handover, he has continued to develop his company. Today, Hillinger wine is internationally renowned. Hillinger has been pursuing organic viticulture since 2010.
Hill Side White is a harmonious cuvee made from 70% Pinot Gris, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Gelber Muskateller. The wine is made by hand and includes a maceration period of around 6 hours, fermentation in stainless steel tanks for around 4 weeks, full lees ageing for around 2 months and fine lees ageing for around 4 months. The wine can be stored for up to 3 years and is sealed with a natural cork to preserve its quality and variety of aromas.
