Leo Hillinger took over the winery from his father in 1990. Since the handover, he has continued to develop his company. Today, Hillinger wine is internationally renowned.
Hillinger has been pursuing organic viticulture since 2010.
Hill Brut Rose Reserve is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes and undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle after the addition of the base wine "liqueur de tirage". The wine then matures on the lees for 3 years before being disgorged. This sparkling wine has a storage potential of 10 years and is sealed with a natural cork.
