Hennessy X.X.O Cognac Hors D'Age 40% Vol. 1l

Hennessy X.X.O Cognac Hors d’Age is one of the most time-honored prestige blends from the House of Hennessy in Cognac, France. Its origins date back to 1870, when Master Blender Emile Fillioux set aside select eaux-de-vie with exceptional aging potential while developing the Hennessy X.O. The resulting X.X.O blend was first offered internationally as early as 1871. More than a century later, Yann Fillioux, the seventh-generation Master Blender of the Fillioux family, revived this historic concept and created the Hennessy X.X.O in its current form in 2018. This expression thus combines the house’s long history with the knowledge—passed down through generations—of selecting, aging, and blending premium Cognac eaux-de-vie.

Characteristic of the Hennessy X.X.O Hors d’Age is the interplay of a powerful structure with exceptional finesse and a particularly long-lasting finish. The carefully crafted cognac cuvee displays a broad aromatic spectrum ranging from herbal and spicy notes to bitter orange, nutmeg, and licorice. This prestigious cognac from Hennessy is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume in a generous 1-liter bottle. The designation X.X.O, which stands for “Extra Extra Old,” underscores its position within the category of exceptionally long-aged cognacs. The Hennessy X.X.O Cognac 40% 1 L thus combines historical roots dating back to the 19th century, many years of barrel aging, and the House of Hennessy’s time-honored art of blending into an exclusive bottling for discerning cognac collections.
