The Heinrich winery is located in Gols in Burgenland. It is under the management of Gernot and Heike Heinrich. A great wine only comes about when the vines feel at home. The family's vineyards are located in Purbach, Breitenbrunn, Winden, Jois, Neusiedl am See, Weiden, Gold, Moenchhof and Podersdorf. Due to the numerous hours of sunshine around Lake Neusiedl, the grapes can develop fully and reflect this intensity in the taste.
The fully ripe grapes of Chardonnay are harvested by hand in mid-September and left on the mash. This is followed by spontaneous fermentation and malolactic fermentation. Overall, this white wine matures for 7 months in large oak barrels on the natural yeast.
