The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the well-known wine-growing region of Andau, which is close to Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau is one of the sunniest places in Austria. The vines grow on gravelly soils and have to make do with very little rainfall (450mm).Hannes Reeh has been solely responsible for the vinification of the wines since 2007. The winemaker is an unconventional man, self-confident and determined in pursuing his plans.
Hannes Reeh Lieblich Rot is a well-balanced wine made from 50% Zweigelt and 50% Merlot grapes. This wine is matured in steel tanks in order to preserve the typical varietal aromas. Once the maturation phase is complete, the wine is bottled and sealed with a screw cap.
