The Hagn Blauer Burgunder 2024 13% Vol. 0.75 l is an elegant Blauer Burgunder from Lower Austria that expresses the finesse and aromatic precision of this classic Burgundy variety particularly well. Produced by the Hagn winery in Mailberg in the Weinviertel region, the grapes come from the Hochluessen vineyard, whose loamy loess soils offer ideal conditions for structured yet elegant Pinot Noir and Blauer Burgunder quality wines from Austria.

After harvesting, the grapes are quickly crushed and then fermented for 22 days in stainless steel tanks at around 28°C, with flooding and aeration ensuring optimum extraction. The subsequent maturation takes place 100% in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine additional structure and elegance without losing its fruity style. With 13% alcohol by volume, a recommended serving temperature of 17-19°C and a drinking window of around 2025 to 2030, this Blauer Burgunder from Lower Austria presents itself as a harmonious red wine with a fine balance between fruit, structure and Burgundian elegance.
