The whisky was fully matured in a classic sherry butt, which has given the whisky depth, structure and complexity over many years. The focus is always on the distillery character of Glenfarclas, which is complemented but not overshadowed by the sherry influence. Bottled without chill-filtration and without colorant, this Speyside single malt shows itself in its natural form. The high alcohol content of 59.3% lends strength and tension, while the long maturation ensures balance and a clearly defined style.
