The Glen Grant distillery was established in Rothes, Scotland, in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant. In 1872, James Grant's son took over the distillery. Since 2006, it now belongs to the Campari Group. Campari is an Italian company that ranks among the sixth largest suppliers of spirits in the world. At the same time, Dennis Malcolm was appointed Master Distiller, celebrating 60 years in the Scotch whisky industry in 2021.
The Glen Grant Rothes Chronicles CASK HAVEN Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first of soon to be three limited edition whiskies in the Rothes Chronicles series.
The whisky bears the name of its hometown Rothes, in Scotland.
The name Cask Haven is dedicated to the inventiveness and high ingenuity of James Grant, who took over the distillery after the death of the founders.
This whiskey matures in first-fill bourbon and in sherry casks.
