In 1975, Gerard Bertrand began his grape harvest at Chateau de Villemajou in the Corbieres, where he discovered his passion for wine. Over the course of twelve years, he honed his skills alongside his father Georges Bertrand until the fourth generation finally carried on the legacy. After the tragic death of his father in 1987, Gerard Bertrand took over the family management of the Domaine de Villemajou and founded the Gerard Bertrand wine company. The Gerard Bertrand Group comprises 16 wine estates and 16 chateaux along the Mediterranean coast of France, covering a total of 850 hectares. Some of the hand-picked grapes are matured in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels, while the rest is stored in stainless steel tanks.6 estates and 16 chateaux. Naturae is a range of wines with no added sulphites or artificial additives, allowing you to enjoy the unadulterated character of the grapes and the terroir. Each cuvee in this line expresses the unique taste of the fruit and the characteristics of the terroir in an incomparable way. This organic wine is the result of the expertise of Gerard Bertrand and his team of oenologists. The vines are cultivated according to the strict specifications of organic farming, which requires the utmost precision both in the vineyard and during vinification.

The basis of this wine lies in the precise selection of healthy plots with optimally ripe grapes and a balanced acid-sugar ratio. Vinification is carried out traditionally and without sulphur or additives. After a 10-day maceration with gentle pumping over, the grapes are carefully pressed. The wine is then drawn off, malolactic fermentation is carried out and the wine is cold stabilized.
