La Forge comes from a unique plot of centuries-old Carignan vines, some of which are over 100 years old, supplemented by old Syrah vines. The name La Forge comes from the land registry and symbolizes the natural alchemy of this terroir, where wood, water and soil work together in perfect balance.

This cuvee of Carignan and Syrah embodies the essence of old vines and the uncompromising quality standards of Gerard Bertrand. The high ripeness of the grapes, the exceptional concentration and the natural tannin structure give this powerful red wine an impressive depth and an enormous ageing potential of up to 20 years.
