Gerard Bertrand is a world-renowned brand and was founded by the winemaker of the same name. The Gerard Bertrand group includes 16 wineries and 16 chateaux, the total area covers 850 hectares and is located in France in the Languedoc region, which stretches along the Mediterranean coast along the Spanish border. This area enjoys a semi-arid Mediterranean climate, which creates optimal conditions for viticulture.

Clos du Temple was voted the best rose wine in the world at the Global Rose Masters of Drinks Business 2022. Harvesting is done by hand in crates at sunrise to take advantage of lower night temperatures, and each parcel is harvested at the optimal time and vinified separately. After fermentation at low temperature, clarification takes place between 8 and 10 °C for 24 hours without the addition of sulfites before the wine is aged in new barrels. These barrels were carefully selected according to the origin of the wood. This rose spends six months on the fine lees, with a constant circulation of the lees.
