In 1975, Gerard Bertrand began his grape harvest at Chateau de Villemajou in the Corbieres, where he discovered his passion for wine. Over the course of twelve years, he honed his skills alongside his father Georges Bertrand until the fourth generation finally carried on the legacy. After the tragic death of his father in 1987, Gerard Bertrand took over the family management of the Domaine de Villemajou and founded the Gerard Bertrand wine company. The Gerard Bertrand Group comprises 16 wine estates and 16 chateaux along the Mediterranean coast of France, covering a total of 850 hectares. Some of the grapes are harvested by hand and matured in 225-liter Bordeaux barrels, while the rest is stored in stainless steel tanks.

Gerard Bertrand presents the Change range, which comes from vineyards converted to organic farming. This rose wine is made from 100% Grenache grapes and has an ageing potential of up to 4 years. The grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press as soon as they arrive at the winery, without prior maceration. Cold settling is followed by alcoholic fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats to preserve the fruit aromas. After ageing, the wine is bottled early and sealed with a screw cap.
