Gerard Bertrand Art de Vivre Languedoc Vin Blanc 2023 13% Vol. 0,75l
The Gerard Bertrand Art de Vivre Languedoc Vin Blanc 2023 13% Vol. 0.75 l is a characterful white wine from the Languedoc and a tribute to the Mediterranean culture, landscape and wine tradition of southern France. Produced by the renowned Gerard Bertrand winery, this wine is based on the traditional Clairette grape variety, a historic variety of the Mediterranean region. The wine stands for the combination of millennia-old viticultural culture and modern cellar technology and represents the philosophy of the Art de Vivre line, which reflects the Mediterranean lifestyle and the cultural heritage of the region.
The grapes are selectively harvested between the beginning and end of September, with the harvest taking place in the early morning hours between 5 and 8 a.m. in order to preserve the freshness of the grapes in the best possible way. They are then pressed directly, using only the first press juices. The pressing takes place under neutral gas to protect the aromatic purity. Fermentation takes place at a controlled 13-15°C and is deliberately stopped by cold, resulting in a slightly sweetened white wine with around 12 g of residual sugar. Another characteristic feature is the unusual bottle made of natural earth, which is reminiscent of ancient amphorae and symbolizes the historical origins of viticulture in the Mediterranean region.
