The Gager family winery has been one of the best red wine estates in Austria since the 1980s. The vineyard is 100% planted with red wines, mainly Blaufraenkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Cuvees are the focus of the winery. Hans Gager's entry into the family business has further consolidated Gager's wine style: Power and finesse.
Cuvee Quattro is the trademark of the Gager winery. The grape variety Blaufraenkisch predominates, but is still accompanied by the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt. Aging takes place for 17 months in small new and used oak barrels.
