The Frescobaldi Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico 2022 with 14% vol. in a 0.75 l bottle comes from the high-altitude vineyards of Tenuta Perano in Gaiole in Chianti, which lie at an altitude of around 500 meters. The south-south-west facing vineyards form a natural amphitheater that ideally concentrates the sun and heat, creating an exceptionally harmonious microclimate. This special combination of altitude, slope, exposure and the amphitheatre-like structure results in a unique quality that gives the wine its brilliant color, intense fruit and precise tannin structure. Vinified from Sangiovese and complementary varieties, the Chianti Classico displays the typical elegance and depth of this historic origin.

The wine is first aged in stainless steel, followed by 12 months in barrique and steel, which perfectly balances structure, spice and aromatic complexity. Careful maceration with controlled remontage enables optimal extraction of the polyphenolic ingredients and thus a precise color and tannin structure. After additional bottle ageing, this vintage is particularly fine, fruity and elegant, supported by a clear, ruby red hue and an aromatic profile that combines intense berry fruit, floral nuances and spicy accents. A Chianti Classico full of character with depth, regional authenticity and long-lasting elegance.
