The Frescobaldi Pomino Castello Pomino Bianco DOC 2024 comes from one of the highest and most traditional white wine regions in Tuscany, which reaches up to 700 meters above sea level and creates ideal conditions for elegant white wines. The cuvee of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco is harvested with the utmost care, with the grapes being selected in the vineyard to ensure a high level of quality. Particularly gentle pressing cycles are then carried out in the winery, where contact with oxygen is avoided as far as possible in order to preserve the natural freshness and purity of the must. Alcoholic fermentation takes place under controlled conditions in steel tanks and, to a lesser extent, in French oak barriques. This combination enables a precise balance between creaminess, structure and clear freshness. Once vinification is complete, the Pomino Bianco is left to mature in the bottle before revealing its elegant structure and pronounced freshness.

The production method reflects the many years of experience of the Frescobaldi family and the special identity of the Pomino appellation, which is known for its exceptional white wines. The altitude and cool microclimate give the cuvee a sophisticated style that combines elegance and finesse. The Pomino Bianco DOC 2024 is a modern example of the art of Tuscan white wine and builds on the historical quality of Castello Pomino. The careful processing, the partial ageing in wood and the additional period of bottle ageing make it a multi-layered wine that impresses both gastronomically and as a soloist.
