Produced by the renowned Fratelli Francoli distillery, this limoncello from Italy is made from the peel of a total of ten different lemon varieties. Most of these come from the south coast of Italy and ensure a particularly complex and full-bodied aroma. The combination of fresh and dried lemon peel and concentrated lemon juice gives this premium lemon liqueur its characteristic intensity.

The fresh lemon zest is macerated in two different degrees of alcohol to extract the valuable essential oils from the peel. In addition, the lemon peel is steam distilled to obtain additional aromatic components that give Fratelli Francoli Limoncello structure and depth. Dried lemon zest is also macerated over several days, resulting in particularly stable and long-lasting aromas. The lemon juice used is concentrated eightfold at a low temperature, giving the limoncello liqueur a balanced freshness and a pleasantly lively acidity. A syrup is produced with Italian beet sugar and soft spring water from Ghemme, which is then combined with the macerates obtained. The result is an aromatic limoncello with 30% alcohol by volume, which is also produced in a climate-neutral way and authentically reflects Italian gourmet culture.
