The Ferrari PERLE Brut Millesimato DOC 2019 is a vintage Trentodoc sparkling wine from Trentino, produced exclusively from Chardonnay. The grapes come from select, particularly well-suited high-altitude vineyards in Trentino and are harvested exclusively by hand. It is precisely the mountain vineyards, with their warm days and significantly cooler nights, that create ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the grapes and a balanced ratio of ripeness to natural acidity. After careful harvesting, vinification begins in stainless steel tanks. As a Trentodoc, the Ferrari Perle is then produced using the Metodo Classico, with a second fermentation in the bottle, which develops its characteristic structure and fine perlage. The 2019 vintage thus combines the Alpine origins of Trentino with the Ferrari house’s long-standing tradition of sparkling wine production.

A particularly defining feature of the Ferrari Perle 2019 is its long aging period: the Millesimato spends at least 48 months on the lees in the cellars of Ferrari Trento. This extended aging on the lees gives the Chardonnay ample time to develop additional depth and complexity.
