Bodega Rey Fernando de Castilla has been producing sherry of the highest quality since 1837. The bodega is placed in the heart of the traditional old town of Jerez de la Fontera. The city is one of the oldest wine-growing towns in Spain and also the place of origin of sherry.
Fernando de Castilla Sherry Amontillado is aged for several years in open wooden barrels. After the addition of brandy, the sherry continues to mature under strong air contact. This makes it more aromatic and darker.
