The Niepoort winery, one of the best known in Portugal, was founded in 1842 by Eduard Kebe and looks back on a long tradition and history. Today, the winery is run by the fifth generation and successfully combines tradition with innovation to produce wines of the highest quality. In the renowned Cima Corgo region, the vines grow on steep terraces, where they take root in the barren slate soil and absorb valuable flavor characteristics. This special location gives the wines a mineral depth and a distinctive aroma profile. The Fabelhaft, one of the estate's best-known creations, offers impressive drinking pleasure even in its youth and is an excellent companion for a variety of occasions.

Made from the grape varieties Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cao, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Francesa, Touriga Nacional and other indigenous grapes, the wine is carefully matured in small wooden barrels.
