The Erwin Sabathi Sauvignon Blanc Ried Poessnitzberg Suedsteiermark DAC 2023 is one of the great single-vineyard wines of Suedsteiermark and exemplifies uncompromising origin, depth and longevity. It comes from the renowned single vineyard Ried Poessnitzberg, whose barren, highly calcareous Opok soil forms the basis for precision, mineral tension and exceptional structure. The grapes come from steep vineyards, are harvested exclusively by hand and grown organically. With 13% alcohol by volume, the wine is taut, structured and impressively balanced.
