With an alcohol content of 47% ABV (94 proof), this whiskey combines the signature depth and smoothness of Elijah Craig bourbons with the aromatic intensity of a classic American rye.

Elijah Craig Straight Rye is produced using a similar distillation process to the distillery's small-batch bourbon, but with one key difference in the mashbill: Instead of a corn-forward recipe, this whiskey is based on at least 51% rye, supplemented with corn and malted barley. This combination creates a distinctive balance between the spice of rye and the sweetness of corn, while the long aging in charred American oak barrels gives it its distinctive depth and smooth structure.
