El Mayor anchors its tequila tradition deep in the soil. The tequila is made exclusively from high-quality Weber blue agaves that flourish in the rocky lowlands of Jalisco. These plants grow at an altitude of around 2,300 meters, where the mineral-rich sandy soil produces particularly juicy agaves, giving El Mayor Tequila a characteristic taste that reflects the regional warmth of Jalisco.

El Mayor's Extra Anejo symbolizes the art of careful ageing. It is our highest quality tequila, made from 100% agave, aged for at least three and a half years in American white oak barrels. This process gives it a rich and complex flavor profile that is a reward for the patient connoisseur.
