This rum is the result of a combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills and Port Mourant double wooden pot stills. It was matured over a period of 12 years in selected oak barrels.

This rum is a unique combination of Enmore and Diamond Coffey stills, the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Still and the Versailles Single Wooden Pot Still. Its 15-year maturation in carefully selected oak barrels gives this blend its characteristic spicy and fruity taste. This 15-year-old rum has been named "Best Rum in the World" for the fourth time in a row, underlining its first-class quality and refinement, which is achieved through the long maturation period in old oak barrels.

The blended rums from El Dorado are produced by blending different vintages or batches and different stills.
