After a thorough selection of the best batches of grappa, it is matured for twelve months in oak barrels, a wood that releases its characteristic amber colour even when reused.
In this type of wood barrels, the natural action of oxygen is favoured by the staves when extracting the aromas. Thus a fresh and rich distillate of aromatic tops is transformed into a round and elegant brandy.
