Distilled in traditional copper pot stills made from molasses, the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva matures for at least 12 years in carefully selected ex-bourbon barrels. The producer remains true to the old Venezuelan style, which is characterized by heavy and warm tones, and thus sets itself apart from the country's recently predominant light and pleasing rum style.
