The deadhead bottlings are produced in Veracruz, a city rich in tradition in Mexico. The premium rums present themselves as shrunken heads, which were taken home by the Mexican natives as a victory trophy after a fight.
The appearance of the bottles also reflects the so-called "Dia de Los Muertos", the day of the undead. A traditional holiday in Mexico.
This deadhead rum is distilled by pot still method. The distillate then matures for 6 years in oak barrels. The Solera method is used for this.
