The CONSTANTIA HILL Sauvignon Blanc x Semillon 2021 13.5% Vol. 0.75 l is an elegant white wine from South Africa, which comes from the renowned cool-climate wine-growing region of Constantia. This characterful Wine of Origin (WO) Constantia is vinified by Leo Hillinger together with Alexander Waibel and the South African winemaker Justin Van Wyk. The grapes grow in Hillinger's "second home" Constantia, one of South Africa's oldest and most prestigious wine regions, which is known for its fresh and elegant cool-climate wines.
The wine consists of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, a classic Bordeaux cuvee that combines freshness, structure and complexity. The region's temperate climate ensures that the grapes ripen slowly, giving Constantia Hill White its precise aroma and elegant acidity. With 13.5% alcohol by volume, this South African white wine is harmonious, balanced and particularly easy to drink. The ageing potential is around 2 to 4 years, which means that the wine can be enjoyed young or stored for a short time.
