The Hillinger CONSTANTIA HILL Red 2020 14.5% Vol. 0.75 l is a powerful red wine from South Africa, produced in the renowned cool-climate wine-growing region of Constantia. The wine is vinified by Leo Hillinger together with Alexander Waibel and South African winemaker Justin Van Wyk. Leo Hillinger travels to Constantia several times a year to personally accompany the wines of the Constantia HILL line. The wine is classified as Wine of Origin (WO) Constantia according to the South African system of origin.

The exceptional cuvee of Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon gives this South African red wine depth, structure and aromatic complexity. The grapes benefit from the moderate cool climate, which ensures slow ripening and precise aromas. After fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in French barrique barrels, adding structure, spice and elegance. With 14.5% alcohol by volume, the Constantia Hill Red 2020 is powerful, concentrated and balanced. Thanks to its structure, this red wine from Constantia has a cellaring potential of around 8 to 10 years.
