Collazzi LIBERTA Toscana IGT 2022 13,5% Vol. 1,5l in Holzkiste

The name "Liberta" is derived from a gift from the city of Florence to eight Florentine families, including the then owners of the I Collazzi estate, who bravely fought for the liberation of the city in 1376.

The Collazzi Liberta combines the soft tannins of Merlot, the spicy elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon and the aromatic complexity of Cabernet Franc to create a harmonious balance. The grapes for the Collazzi Liberta come from the Collazzi vineyard in Impruneta, Florence. The 20-year-old vines thrive on soils rich in limestone and gravel, which gives the wine its complex and elegant aromas. The harvest is carried out manually, and thanks to the vineyards being only 400 meters away, the time between harvest and processing is extremely short, which contributes to the high quality of the wine.

Each grape variety is harvested separately and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured in both wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks before being carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork. The Collazzi Liberta has the potential to mature and develop its best qualities until 2028.
