The name "Liberta" is derived from a gift from the city of Florence to eight Florentine families, including the then owners of the I Collazzi estate, who bravely fought for the liberation of the city in 1376.

Collazzi Liberta combines the soft tannins of Merlot (55%), the spicy elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and the aromatic complexity of Cabernet Franc (15%) to create a harmonious balance. The grapes grow on clay-limestone soils that are rich in skeletal material and well drained. The manual harvest takes place in vineyards located within 400 meters of the winery. This allows the grapes to be processed quickly, preserving their freshness. Each plot and grape variety is harvested and vinified separately, with the grapes being carefully selected on sorting tables.

Collazzi Liberta matures for 12 months in barrels and tanks and then for 6 months in bottles. The wine is bottled with natural corks that seal the wine perfectly.
