Maison Ferrand, a family business since 1989, was founded through the collaboration of Alexandre Gabriel and the Pierre Ferrand family, one of the oldest cognac-producing families in France. The company's headquarters are in Paris, but the cognac is produced in the legendary Grande Champagne region, which is known worldwide for its first-class cognacs.
The name "Selection des Anges", which translates as "Selection of Angels", refers to the high quality and lengthy ageing process of this Cognac. The Selection des Anges is a blend of 25 to 35-year-old eaux-de-vie that are matured in new, medium-toasted oak barrels before being transferred to used barrels from Ferrand, which gives the cognac a particularly complex and balanced structure. This long maturation ensures the development of fruity, floral and woody aromas that harmonize perfectly with each other.
