Codigo 1530 Blanco Tequila is the unaged expression of the Codigo 1530 Tequila range. It is known for its smooth and clean flavor profile that captures the essence of the 100% blue Weber agave from which it is made.
The production of Codigo 1530 Blanco begins with hand-picked ripe agave, which is harvested and slowly cooked in traditional brick ovens. This cooking process helps to release the flavors and natural sugars in the agave, which are essential for making a high-quality tequila.
After cooking, the agave is crushed to extract the juice, which is then fermented with a proprietary yeast strain. This fermentation process takes several days, allowing the yeast to convert the sugar into alcohol, resulting in a flavorful and aromatic liquid.
