The Cihuatan 12 Years Cinabrio Rum El Salvador 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB with 2 glasses is a fine premium rum from the up-and-coming Licorera Cihuatan Distillery in El Salvador, which is known for its artisanal rum production and authentic Central American flavors. The name "Cinabrio" is derived from the mineral vermilion (cinnabar), which was a symbol of passion, energy and rebirth in Mayan culture - and thus stands for the powerful soul of this rum.
Made from locally grown sugar cane and distilled in column stills, Cihuatan Cinabrio 12 Anos matures for at least twelve years in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak. This long tropical maturation gives it its smooth texture, aromatic depth and characteristic amber color. The balance between sweetness, wood and spice is finely tuned and testifies to the high art of Central American rum production.
