Campari is a red herbal liqueur with a bittersweet taste. It has been made in Milan since 1862, when it was first served at Cafe Camparino in the Viktor Emanuel Gallery.
The exact recipe is a family secret. According to the manufacturing company Campari Group, 86 different roots, herbs, spices and fruits are used. Campari is still produced according to the original recipe.
In the Camparino bar, Campari soda was the most popular drink. An aperitif with low alcohol content but particularly tangy. The Italian classic is a good way to be close to the country.
