Bruichladdich BERE BARLEY 10 Years Old 2013 50% Vol. 0,7l
Bruichladdich Bere Barley 10 Years Old is a unique single malt whisky made from 100% Bere barley, an ancient Scottish grain grown by the Orkney College Agronomy Institute. Distilled in 2013, this whisky represents the expression of a single vintage and has been matured for 10 years.
The maturation process took place in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks (80%) and second-fill Pauillac wine casks (20%), resulting in a remarkable, complex taste. The barley used comes from Weyland and Watersfield, Muddisdale and Quoyberstane farms, as well as St. Ola, Westermill and The Northfield in Burray - all ideal growing regions for this particular grain variety.
