Five Hundred Cuts is full of spice and joie de vivre and pays tribute to Lizzy's unbreakable spirit. Lizzy, Elizabeth Blackwell is the first female doctor in the United States.
White rum made from sugar cane molasses and fermented for seven days with red wine yeast is distilled in a double pot still to release notes of tropical fruit and burnt sugar.
The botanicals are then carefully distilled over four hours, with a little unrefined muscovado sugar added for subtle sweetness.
A rum enhanced with botanicals such as tonka beans, cloves, lavender, cardamom, orange peel, mace, cinnamon, nutmeg, spices, ginger, pineapple and mango.
