The Botran KI' Ron de Guatemala Rum 40% vol. 0.7 l is a premium rum from Guatemala full of character that combines the traditional production methods of the Botran rum distillery with modern barrel ageing. This Ron de Guatemala is produced on the basis of sugar cane syrup (Virgin Sugar Cane Honey), resulting in a particularly smooth and aromatically dense style. Distillation is carried out gently before the rum is matured in an elaborate dynamic ageing system (similar to a solera), which ensures a harmonious combination of different ageing stages.

Botran KI' Rum is a blend of matured rums aged between 6 and 9 years, which are matured in a combination of four different barrel types. Ex-bourbon barrels (American whiskey) are used, including medium-burnt variants, as well as Oloroso sherry barrels and Muscatel wine barrels. This varied barrel maturation gives the Guatemalan rum a balanced structure with sweet, fruity and slightly spicy nuances. With 40% alcohol, this Botran rum is round, accessible and versatile.
