During its maturation, this rum benefits from the use of selected barrels, including ex-American whiskey barrels and medium toast barrels.

A crucial step in its production is filtration through activated charcoal, using two different types of charcoal. This filtration process aims to refine the rum and ensure its clarity while maintaining the complexity of its aromas and flavor profiles.
