Bollinger Champagne SPECIAL CUVEE Brut (12% ABV) in a 0.75-liter bottle is the flagship product of the historic Bollinger Champagne House and is one of the most famous champagnes from the Champagne region. The name “Special Cuvee” was coined as early as 1911, when Georges Bollinger’s British representative felt that the simple designation “Non-Vintage Brut” did not do justice to the exceptional quality of this champagne. Since then, the name has stood for the house’s distinctive style and continues to embody Bollinger’s philosophy to this day: to create a champagne of consistent quality, elegance, and character year after year.

The cuvee consists of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Meunier, with over 85% of the grapes coming from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. The numerous reserve wines—some of which are aged in magnum bottles for between seven and fifteen years—make a significant contribution to this distinctive style. Aging on the lees lasts at least twice as long as required by appellation regulations. With a moderate dosage of 7 to 8 g/l, the Bollinger Special Cuvee Brut is harmonious, elegant, and exceptionally complex. This champagne impressively combines power and finesse and ranks among the great classics of Champagne.
