The Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grape varieties grow here on marl soils with layers of slate, which contribute significantly to the structural density and aromatic depth of Amarone. Production follows the typical appassimento method: the grapes are dried for around four months after harvesting, which concentrates the sugar and extract substances. They are then gently pressed before maceration for 20 days and fermentation for around 25 days.
